From Global prayer to neighbourhood walking for the Lord

We are now four fifths through the global decade of prayer. Starting in South Africa in 2000, the goal is to unify millions in all nations in prayer by 2010. Intense prayer begins 10 days before Pentecost (May 11) and continues with 90 Days of Blessing after. 24/7 prayer is rising around the globe.

It was through prayer that we believe a vision to Prayerwalk Ottawa was birthed. This is a work of the Holy Spirit that we see rising in our streets. The grassroots call is to walk, watch, and pray. Pray the Word of God throughout our neighbourhoods, obey the Holy Spirit as He guides us, and watch what He will do through us! It was through prayerwalking cities in South America 20 years ago that revival was ignited in Colombia and it continues rippling through neighbouring countries today.

The Prayerwalk Ottawa vision also includes a plan to track this army as it rises. We are tracking the streets that are covered in prayer, the ages of the prayerwalkers, and the stories of what God is doing in our neighbourhoods. If you catch this vision, please share it! Advance the kingdom right where you are. To ask questions or report your prayerwalking details and stories, please e-mail prayerwalkottawa@rogers.com.

Please come and joins us for the GDOP in Ottawa on May 11 at Dominion-Chalmers.

An official GDOP DVD is available for your congregation to view the impact that GDOP is having around the world. It will amaze you as they show the impact that GDOP is having all over the world as it breaks down barriers that have been holding back millions from a far closer walk with the Lord. The DVD costs $5 including postage and can be ordered here.
